Melissa “Missy” Leonhardt is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation. Missy graduated from John Carroll University with her Masters in Community Counseling, as well as her undergraduate degree in Sociology with concentrations in Cultural Diversity and Criminology. She proudly provides individual counseling for children (ages 10+), adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she administers supervision to Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC’s) allowing them to operate within the state of Ohio. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and nationally Certified Case Manager (CCM), she utilizes an eclectic approach to counseling to best meet her client’s needs. Specializing in Trauma, she continues to challenge herself to grow in other therapeutic areas by attending trainings, conferences, and staying up to date with current mental health and therapy research. Missy is an expert in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ supports, life stressors, family, grief, and relationship issues.
