Marirhetta is currently not accepting new clients at this time, but we do have a waiting list for your review.

Marirhetta accepts clients from ages 15+. Couples of all kinds, and families with teens and up.

I use an integrated approach that includes an eclectic strength-based view with a systemic lens with all clients. This allows me to see a holistic view of every client’s needs in everyday life.

As a modern psychotherapist, I understand that it not only takes the understanding of conscience or subconscious material with clients for clients to improve in symptoms/ make change; it equally takes the therapeutic dialogue between therapists and clients. This continual therapeutic dialogue, or dance I should say, takes two people; the client and the psychotherapist. This dance makes everything possible for the client. As modern therapists, we understand that the client doesn’t do all the work, and nor does the psychotherapist. Being a modern therapist is helping clients to find, refine, redefine or mend their whole self to optimize being their best self in their reality, in these modern times of change and uncertainty.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and systemic therapies. With CBT and DBT, I help my clients explore negative thought-emotion-behavior patterns and how this connection may affect relationships and prevent happiness. With Strategic Therapy, I help clients and families implement desired goals and understandings to improve mental health, mood and relationships. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing space for my clients in which we can explore presenting concerns in a constructive and meaningful manner. I am a hands-on active therapist who expects her clients to work for what they want as well. While meeting all clients where they are at, I do well to build bridges and fill gaps for clients to supportively reach their therapeutic goals.

Meeting clients where they are and empowering them to be who they want to be is my passion. This process can be lengthy, so I collaborate with my clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship and support my clients at every level along their journey for growth and healing. I help individuals, couples and families explore relationship issues, identify meaningful behavior changes and implement those changes through forming and maintaining a healthy therapeutic relationship in every session. If you’re ready to work, I’m ready to work with and for you!
